Thermal Integrated System for Touchless Attendance and Access

Greetings! At the outset we would like to thank you for expressing your interest in TISTAA. The current global outbreak of Corona Virus (COVID-19), which primarily spreads through infected surfaces, has made it emergent for organizations to transition to touchless attendance systems from the currently used biometric attendance management systems.

This change in technology will go a long way in safeguarding their workforce against the spread of such unforeseen infections.

TISTAA is an AI Based system that uses Face Recognition and is way ahead in terms of accuracy and speed in comparison to the existing biometric systems.

System for
Touchless
Attendance &
Access
Record Body Temperature – The system uses integrated Thermal scanner that measure and record body temperature of the person/persons in single frame.

Infection Free – Attendance is marked by just showing face in camera, so no physical contact between the device and employee.

Proxy Proof – People can swap smart cards but can’t swap faces. Therefore, no instance of proxies.

High Accuracy – The system is build using Artificial Intelligence technology, hence, the accuracy of the system is high.

API based system – The attendance data can be fed to HRMS system by integrating API. This reduces effort at HR level.

Analytics based Dashboard – HR can extract reports which will help company in planning of its resources and processing payrolls.

PRODUCT FEATURES

A powerful least invasive identification technology that delivers exceptional results for improved people analytics for various application from marketing, corporate offices, customer loyalty management to immigration & border control to simple access control for a building.

We offer unique integrated computer vision solutions equipped thermal scanner and latest Face Detection & Recognition Algorithm. It delivers exceptional results & dependable for mission critical applications.

This technology is unique and is integrated with our Smart access management system and Video Analytics Suite. Faces of people in the scene/entry/exit gates are automatically screened and recorded with body temperature and captured in a face log and can be analyzed for future investigation. Images/Videos are also matched with a pre-defined face database in order to automatically generate an alert.

Some of the key features of the product are:

  • Thermal Integrated scanner (Multiple People Scanning)
  • Real time Face detection and Authentication of Single/Multiple People
  • Integrated with LED screen
  • Integrated with Door lock

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Camera Height and Angle: Camera is directed toward face for optimum performance. Usually average height of a person is 5-6 ft. Video camera should be installed at height 5-7 ft. Distance of the person from the camera should be 2-4 ft.

Camera Mounting Arrangement: The mounting base should be strong and stable enough to avoid any vibration, movement, shaking, jerking, tilting, or chance of easy tampering of the camera.

Permissible Horizontal Angular Deviation of Face: Camera should be focused straight to the human face. So that both left and right parts of the face are visible equally. The maximum left-right shift is allowed not more than 1/20th of the distance in between the captured position and camera.

Pose: The near frontal pose (full-face) must be used. Rotation of the head should be less than +/- 25 degrees from frontal in every direction – up/down, rotated left/right, and tilted left/right.

Focus of the camera: The camera should be well focused so that the face is sharp, high contrast, clearly visible and distinguishable by naked eye.

Size of the Face: Size of face should not be less than 1/5 height of entire FOV for 2MP video or at least 100×100 pixels for higher resolution video.

Face database: All the face images in the database should be sharp, high contrast, clearly visible and distinguishable by naked eye.

Face Changes: Beard, moustache and other changeable face features influence face recognition quality and if frequent face changes are typical for some individual, face database to contain e.g. face with beard and cleanly shaved face enrolled with identical ID.

Lighting Condition: The photos are captured in good lighting for optimum performance, i.e. lighting equally distributed on each side of the face and from top to bottom, no significant direction of the light or visible shadows.

Eyeglasses: Glasses have to be of clear glass and transparent, so the eyes and irises are clearly visible. Heavily tinted glasses and lighting reflections affect the recognition. However, face recognition typically works best when matching people with eyeglasses against themselves wearing the same eyeglasses.

Minimum Light Condition: Well Illuminated with Min 300 Lux in the camera field of view
